All the members and their wives who attended the barbeque had a great time.  I hope to do this again next year.  There was plenty of Mexican food ( carne asada, carnitas, chicken, rice, beans, salsa, tortillas and guacamole/chips) and drinks (beer, sodas, beer, water, beer, wine coolers, beer) and David Rhodes provided the desert (apple pie/peach pie). 

This was just a Saturday get-together with everyone relaxing by the pool, listening to music.  Several members even got to see the big race on my outside TV.

We did not discuss any Chapter business, because everyone was having too much fun.

For those members that plan on attending the San Antonio reunion, I have submitted a request to have a Mini-reunion on Thursday, July 3rd,  1300 - 1700 hours.  Please check the VHPA Web site to confirm.  It may take a couple more days to post. I also plan on reserving a So Cal Chapter dinner table at the Final Banquet, please sign up when you register.

As for our next Chapter Meeting, I plan on scheduling it (early Oct.) after I return from the Nation Reunion.  If anyone has any suggestions as to where they would like to hold that meeting or a specific date in Oct. let me know at Deadbone52@aol.com.
